3rd Annual Leadership Conference


1. Overview

 Date –14th November

 Location – The Hard Rock Hotel, Great Cumberland Place, Marylebone London W1H 7DL

 Timing –Registration 0900 sessions start 0930 – Conference ends 1630

Aimed at emerging and aspiring leaders within the hospitality sector the conference focuses on how to enhance upon your leadership approach to get the best out of yourself and others in your team. The agenda aims to inspire and educate through a series of keynote speakers, practical working sessions and discussion

 Ideal development day for all levels from Departmental Manager to General Manger , high potentials and management teams.

Style -The style of the day will be highly motivational, participative and fast paced with interactive sessions. Much use will be made of practical examples with opportunities for people to work with others  to consolidate ideas to take back into the business. Each session will have focused quality input supported by practical exercises and examples.

 Participants will be seated on round tables of 8 to 10 to enable teams and individuals to have more space to make notes and to benefit from the planned interactive sessions.

Transformational Leadership is defined as a leadership approach that causes positive change in individuals and the systems and processes they use. Our industry faces many challenges. We need leaders at all levels who can evolve their business to meet the demands of the future.

During this conference we are going to explore six key elements of Transformational Leadership:

Creating a compelling vision

Creating a compelling vision means that it is compelling for the employees. Visionary leadership means that everyone knows their part in the story, and they believe their part is important to achieving the vision and that they are motivated to do so. Do you have a compelling vision?

Communicating with impact

Communicating with impact is about inspiring and influencing people at all levels. It is conveying what needs to be done in a way that motivates people to do what needs to be done. How impactful is your communication?

Leading change

Leading change is about initiating and directing transformation. What positive changes do you need to make in your area of operation?

Fostering teamwork

Fostering teamwork is about collaborating to build effective relationships and effective teams. How good are the teams and relationships in your area of operation?

Facilitating development

Facilitating development is all about nurturing the growth of yourself and others. What plans do you have in place to develop yourself and your team?

 Delivering results

Delivering results is all about honouring commitments and exceeding expectations. How well are you and your team doing at delivering results right now?

£225 ( plus vat ) per delegate for a table of 8+ people

£250 ( plus vat ) per delegate for bookings of 4 to 7 people

£275 (plus vat ) per delegate for bookings of 1 to 3 people

Price includes days conference, lunch and refreshments throughout the day.

£10 from each ticket will be split and donated to Hospitality Action and Room to reward
